Everyone knows the famous monster created by Dr. Frankenstein (even if they call the Monster Frankenstein when that is not his name.) The Monster is my favorite of the Universal Classic Horror Movies as the base of the premise is so much more than people recognize. I didn’t want to create just the Monster as that would just be really mean to him. The whole premise of the original novel by Mary Shelley is all about how unfair it is to the Monster that Dr. Frankenstein created this unique creature that cannot relate to anyone in this world. That is why the Bride is made for him, he needed someone else in this world to relate to and feel seen by. Therefore, I had to make the lovers together.
